Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Club Faceoff application (the "Service") operated by us. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service. You also agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. The Service

Club Faceoff is a web application that connects to your Strava account to provide club-based leaderboards and activity analysis. The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, in line with Strava's requirements for collecting health-related data.

3. User Accounts & Strava Integration

To use our Service, you must connect your Strava account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree that:

  1. You are responsible for safeguarding your Strava account credentials.
  2. You will not impersonate any other person or entity.
  3. Your use of the Service is subject to the Strava Terms of Service and API Agreement.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  1. Upload or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  2. Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  3. Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service.

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Service for violating these rules.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The accuracy of the data presented depends on the data provided by the Strava API, and we are not responsible for any inaccuracies.

Your athletic activities carry inherent risks. You expressly agree that we are not providing medical advice and are not responsible for any injuries or damages that may result from your participation in any athletic activity.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Club Faceoff, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Club Faceoff and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of your use and access of the Service.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Service relies entirely on the Strava platform. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services, including Strava. You further acknowledge and agree that Club Faceoff shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the owner of the application resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
